I wasn't arguing. I was just trying to give some of the other guys on the list a heads up.

I've heard that the inspection is very stringent. I noticed my air compressor was leaking a little bit of oil so I went ahead and replaced that friday. That definitely hurt the ol' wallet. I have gone over every inch of my truck to make sure there is nothing wrong or nothing that they would think is questionable. I was a lead man in our shop before I started driving and we do DOT inspections so I grabbed a sheet from the office and pulled it over a pit and went to work. If they can find something wrong with this truck then I'm going to have an aneurysm.

It's tough but fair. When they find something they will show you and you will hit yourself and ask how you could have missed that. Couple of things get most people. Trailer ABS light, reflective tape on the cab things like that. Most are easy fixes.

I meant to ask earlier but got side tracked. Does anyone know the prices of the headache racks at the store? I got the price list for the equipment but the racks aren't on there. I asked my recruiter about them and he said they start at $650. I then asked if they had the chain locks or trays at the bottom etc and he said he didn't know and didn't have any pictures of them.

Does anyone here have a picture of their headache rack they got from mercer? I don't have to have one of the big fancy enclosed ones but I would like one that had locks on it.

    Bucktrucker Thanks this.

Call the # and they will explain every line to you and what they could indicate. But at first glance yours looks good.

Thank . The ones I've found online for the same price had no locks or anything . Didn't know if I was going to have to get a more expensive one to get locks.
