True ill prob grab one next time im near a dealer. Gonna replace some more sensors on that too. Most sensors around the intake area are the original ones they are still painted red lol. trying to get my scan gauge to read the exhaust gas temp first so i can see if im making a difference or not.

Ahhhh, I still can't get out of this loop. After I brought that load from Houston to wisconsin, it's back and forth from WI to CT. I mean these loads have paid well and been light enough I'm running 8 or better except crossing the mountains, still pulling 7.5 or better through there. I guess I shouldn't complain, but I want to go back south. Seems when I'm in the northeast, my south load is in WI, when I'm in WI, it's coming out of the northeast.

It can only read what the ecm knows. Does your truck have apyrometer gauge on tge dash? If not, it probably never came equipped with a exhaust temp sensor. It will be on the engine pipe the first piece of the exhaust, mounted directly to the hot side of the turbo. 8, maybe 10 inches from turbo clamp.

    TruckerPete1990 Thanks this.

Never heard of anyone asking for a copy of the ecm. But if someone one hooked up a computer to it and knew where to look then, yes they would be able to tell.

Would 3 16.5 x 24.5 tarps cover a full trailer with 8ft drops? I think it's kinda cutting it close.
