Dark fuel could be algae?
-
It's not it's soot. Algae should be clumped up and it's not.

Been out of the loop for a while .... I was wondering how you folks with Conestoga style curtain sides are doing with them.... How hard is it to find loads with this kind of setup..... Like Johnny 5, I'm looking for Input
-
Depends on where you live or wanna run.
-
They are becoming more common. Not very many loads require them and a few customers won't load them. The guys that have them seem to be satisfied. At least three ones I've talked to.
-
I'm jealous of the Conestoga guys...that would dramatically speed up my tarping time

Nothing stops you from getting one. Last time I was in there one if the big wigs was saying they were working out a deal for Mercer contractors on the kit. He didn't have a number yet tho, but I'm guessing it's gonna be in the 12 to 14 range. He also said they are making a big push to"educate"their customers that the vast majority of freight can be loaded on these trailers. It amazes me how so many people don't understand its nothing but a trap system, just like a covered wagon, just a Lil bigger. It shouldn't limit what you put on the trailer as long as the freight is not over height.
