Yeah, ummm, it would be nice, but I think I make enough payments already, maybe in a few years.

So they are saying i got oil in my fuel? i think its soot but okay. They wanna pull my head off for that and send the head to be tested. NO WAY AM I DOING THAT! The inecjtor test came back normal. They are gonna check the orings on it to make sure thats not the problem. Then they will test turbo

razor, I absolutely don't blame you. I don't have half the payments you do, and wouldn't pay that much to keep from tarping. Besides, my fat ### needs the exercise.

Pete, didn't you just have the head gasket changed? If so, I'd be on the previous shops ### out why they didn't have the head pressure checked while it was off. that's flat out negligent.

Fasttrak or whatever has a special I was thinking about for $12.5 k or there a outs. After having a tarp shredded the other night (darn thing cut through both felt and a moving blanket before my tarp) it might be worth it. If I get near them I just might do it.

Hmm. If a bad head isn't covered by the warranty then what does the warranty cover, cause that's a pretty #### major repair. In fact, the head on my Detroit cost more than a rebuild kit.

Edit to add: just read you are having them pull the injectors to check the orings. That's a waste of money. Those orings on the injectors are very cheap, you just change them if you have an injector out for any reason. don't inspect and reuse. But they aren't your problem. If they were bad, you would get fuel in the oil, and a lot of it.

I have a friend at Mercer with conestoga . He loves it. He gets some loads that require a conestoga. His only issue is for a tall load. His conestoga has just a little
bit less clearance at the outer edge at the top than some other conestogas, maybe because his top bows curve at the edge, instead of having a 90 degree angle.I don't think it's been an issue for him. So, if you get a tarping system, you may want to check to see that the clearance under the top is equal all the way across.
