No. I thought he was talking about mercer charging that to install this thing we have. If it's this jj keller setup and they want 300 bucks to install I want in that business ASAP. Lol

 

It's just the cost of that little black box. They are not cheap. I know most of you are afraid of these elogs. But as soon as you figure out the ends and outs they are super easy and save you a ton of time.

Made the mistake of taking a load into a place that was super hot 10 days ago. I knew it was slowing down when I bounced out. Cold as ice now. Well I guess I'll take the beach in.

 

Just be careful, you can also screw up your ECM. People that do that tend to not tell others that they did it themselves! I have all the programs for Cummins, Detroit, and CAT from when I had my own company and trucks, and absolutely refuse to connect to anyone else's ECM.

 

Oh for sure. I dont plan on touching the ecm. Only thing i might change is my speed lmit to 62 xD. But i do plan on getting ECM reprogramed for MPG. Just havent decided who to use ive found some that are using this 1 guy that is good and delete couple of things of ecm(Cant be said here). But they also got great gains. my truck is getting 5.3 MPG at 65 right now but injectors is problem i think

Hey CJ, no doubt they are not free but I mean I can buy one from jj at 138 bucks so I figure mercer has about 80 bucks in them by volume. And install, no bull, I took it out of the box, plugged it in, downloaded app, signed in, synced it, less than 2 minutes and I'm no bill gates. Lol

They are easy to setup and install alone. But make sure you have it setup to upload your logs to Mercer so you don't get any log violations. Also Mercer can make changes to your log when you screw it up to help keep you compliant. Besides, with all the free ones they gave out they have to get some cash back somehow ;p. Think of the $300 as you buying mine and Petes.
