Before you can switch out to flat contract relations wants to go over your numbers to make sure you're switching for the right reason... Trailer guy was trying to imply that the revenue is the same.. Lmaoo I guess they don't want to lose Van drivers

 

You're right about that Duddie, the infamous "somebody" up there told me when I switched that it was a daily occurrence over the last 30 to 40 days. Did they give you an update for an available trailer?

Sure noticed another drop in the amount of freight this week. Managed to scrape up a few fair loads but no real gravy loads like I was having. Good thing fuel will be under $2 a gal for my loads this week and my heaviest load is only 11k. That should help make up for the lack of miles I am running this week.

 

I believe freight is very disappointing now days, but this is all over not just here in mercer.
I got contacts from landstar to A&R to ho ho to independents, we're all hurting the same.
It seems as if the country is heading towards a recession.
Plan accordingly and re evaluate your bottom line so you don't pass up that (given today rates) good paying load waiting on the mercer special.

 

Yep, everyone I know is saying the same thing. The only question is, is this going to be for 3 months or 2 years? Time will till I suppose.
