Next year is an election year, you can figure on what is today to be what is next year.

I've been saying for months. It happens every election year, it slows down for winter but never gets the spring boost and only gets worse right up to the election. Same thing happened 8 years ago, and 8 years before that. The only time it didn't ghappen was when Reagan was leaving office, because that election was never even remotely close. The entire nation knew Bush was being elected.

Edit: Oscar, beat me to it.

I've been thinking about this van vs flat thing. I bet John is right, total annual revenue is probably not that far apart. However, miles, and therefore, fuel burnt, maintenance, tires, etc, it's going to be a lot different net. Van guys tend run more miles than flats.

Yea I get what he was saying but nah Flat bed loads you can average close to 2 a mile if not over that... I've been out here for 10 years. I'm ready to drive less for more $$$.. Van has always been the lowest... My cousin has his authority pulling flats and reefer.. He keeps telling me I'm going to go bankrupt pulling Van lmaooo..

They will let you in the gate up to 2 hours before your appt, no more. If you're asking if you could be late, not sure, only been there once. I will say, though, they didn't even start loading me until 2 hrs after my appt even though I was there 2 hrs early
