Idk if thats whats wrong with it yet or not. Just got moisture in the tanks and wont clear up. Its got new filter on i wonder if my heating element didn't go out

I am a Agent and Fleet Owner for Mercer. I can answer most questions you may have.
-
If your draining daily and getting moisture than most likely air dryer.
-
How much moisture are we talking about here? Put a jar in front of the valve when you drain your tanks so you can collect the water and see how much you really got. and remember, a new filter will not get rid of moisture in the system, it's designed to prevent moisture from entering the system.
If the air system is ever neglected on a truck and gets a chance to accumulate a lot of water, it's a royal pain to get it all out.
I've had to take the tanks off and wash them out to clean the oil/water sludge out. I've also needed to rig up a vacuum pump on the truck to suck the rest of the water out that spreads thrift out the system. and even after all that, some moisture will be left. -
Which agency code?
-
its not to much but u can see it when u release the air. Its mainly in the passenger side tank
-
thats what i ment idk why i said compressor lol. The air dryer looks easy to replace but mine is under truck so a little dirty. I wanna get it replaced before winter time but gonna shop around for a good deal on it.
-
