You just need an empty weight of your entire unit with all your equipment. Since you have just about everything you need, stop at a cat scale on your way. If under half tanks of fuel, add a few hundred to the empty weight when you sit down with your coordinator. the empty weight scale ticket is just so your coordinator can set it in the computer so he/she can set it in the system and not offer you loads you can't legally haul.

But wouldn't it make sense a new hire shoot to top of list since he's technically empty for 2-3 days?

Nope. you aren't in the system till all your paperwork is processed, your pee test comes back and your truck passes inspection. also, any time you forget to send log books in, or monthly maintenance reports you are put out of service and don't go back on the list till you get them in. So send your stuff in at least once a week.

First empty first offered system won't allow that. You'll have to start from the bottom as if you just got emptied when permits give you your completion folder and you sit back down with your coordinator. I would hate to imagine all the guys from orientation skipping guys who's been unloaded for days to weeks before you.

Yep there is an afternoon class on how to use the elog system. forgot about those things. Add in that class, add in an hour or two to hook it up in the truck. Plus all the regular stuff equals a nice weekend in louisville.

Btw, don't follow your gps. It will send you through down town. From 65 head west on 64 to exit 3 (it might be exit 4, I forget. It's called roy rogers or will rogers) it will wrap around over the interstate, at the first light hook a right. Go 3 or 4 blocks and turn right at the fire station. Mercer will be on the left.
