The feds need to be brought in on the insurance thing...

15 to 20 of the MVT drivers (past and present) need to get together and hire a lawer and sue them for lost wages and such. It would be intresting to see this, but i know it will never happen...

Take a stand against idiot companies like this. On the tire issue.. Doesn't MVT run super singles all the way around?

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

There was another thread talking about a different company yesterday that did the same thing. I was going to post but couldn't remember MVT's name. Now I can't remember the other name. Dam, getting alzheimer's.

Yes, MVT runs the super singles except on the trailers that cross into Mexico.

Thanks for the info.. Was always wondering that. I sincerly hope they don't make a driver run on a flat. If they do that is just plain stupid..

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

something is wrong if you cant run 10K a month
The "incentive" is to get the deadbeats out of their bunks and "run" the loads that have been dispatched.

"Limping" 12 miles for flat repair ?? :biggrin_2559:
One of them crybabies that prefer to sit roadside rather then roll
a short distance to expidite repairs.

    You wouldnt have to quite here . . . . . . . :biggrin_255:

Health care isn't a normal option you play games with. The new federal laws require everyone to pay for health insurance. Sorry Mr. Gov't, didn't have enough miles this month.

It's typical for someone to have three average weeks and then they go home which ruins the 4th week! You never had to sit before?

Running produce I averaged over 12,000 a month. Current job 8400 a month and I stayed out 5 weeks at a time. A company can make the difference. It isn't always the driver.

Hey dispatchers, this month you need cut benefits for 12% of the drivers. "Sorry driver hang tight, we're looking for something"

One option if your on the road, but at the terminal to limp out is another. I don't know about you, but I'm not paid to limp any out of route miles, waste my time waiting on a service repair in a truck stop.

FYI it was much faster having the service come to me....maybe 45 minutes to show up & replace. Opposed to limping, waiting, & driving back to the terminal. Of course a super trucker like you...
