In the world of LTL, it is the same crap wrapped in a different wrapper. They have their linehaul drivers and their P&D drivers. Linehaul does turns at terminals or turnpoints just like the rest of us. I've seen their trucks at hotels, so they probably lay over somewhere around 5% of the time (like we do).

P&D will be home daily.

I can't tell you anything about pay and benefits, but aside from FedEX freight, they do have the fastest trucks on the road.

 

Once and a while i see one of their trucks in my area. Probably delivering or picking up freight to interline. In the 18 years i have spent in my peddle area, i have never seen an outbound bill of lading for freight going with Midwest Motor Express so i cant help you. As
