How did you get 20k empty miles, I'm asking to learn. Not to be a smart ask.

I think Judge does Cali Runs and it is most of the time out loaded and come back empty. Might be wrong but that is how I took his operation.

That's a complicated answer to give. Because there is so much that goes into it.
I can say this. Because I started the year negitive 7,300. I'm now negitive 16,900. But that's just shop and payroll cost.
Every week is different. I get sick so easy I might miss four days or I might run 45 days straight. I'm not dodging your question. I just can't give you a average.
I don't know your situation. But if your asking so you can build a maintance account. Here is on example.
2 gallons of antifreeze a day for nine days to get to a shop I trust. A 2,600.00 egr cooler 60.00 for shipping. Misc Parts and shop 2,100. 3 weeks payroll 800 times 3. =2400. And 2 tow bills equaling 950.00so that was almost a 4k bill in ten days. I get paid biweekly.
If I didn't have money in the maintance account I may or may not have broke even for those two weeks
    I hope this helps

Opps I think I was thinking of someone else. Judge is not the same one I was thinking of in Cali.

I think he was asking because everyone talks crap about having a new truck. He has a nice new truck and does pretty good and been at it for a few years. New trucks have less downtime in most cases and the lost revenue on being down will cost a lot.

Oh ok. Well I hope he sees this one then. I had lost most of the work time which equals money because I was going on other people word. Once I stopped shop hunting and started getting out and looking. Every thing changed. Get to know every system.of your truck intimately. Words of wisdom I was given years ago. But for got over time. Lack of know how has cost me more than missing time at work.

    D.Tibbitt and Siinman Thank this.
