You've officially became a Millis Transfer driver now

 

I knew I'd just been faking it before!

 

I sat there once so long I was about to piss myself. There was a bunch of us backed up and talking on the radio about it. I made a comment that I was going to go piss on that train if it didn't move....and it started moving.

 

The first time I was at Trenton during the day I thought I was in a war zone lol. Bang bang bang

 

Yeah it gets wild there especially if you're parked right on the other side of that berm.


Lololol I stayed in Richfield last night. Fueled before I went to bed. Forgot to change my status. Woke up to me fueling for 11 hours. Thank the gods we can edit these things. I have been told that the DOT wants to make it so that we can't. I would've been screwed this morning had that been the case.

 

I'm not the kind of guy that usually takes pictures of my food, but figured I'd pass along an unlikely source for "home made" Balkan food - a trailer parked outside the Petro in Gary. It was pretty good too, and even a newbie like me could park in the Loves across the street at 4.

There were these 2 Slavic guys eating outside while I was waiting for my order, and 1 of them gave me a sausage when I asked how the food was. I'm going to have to come back for more.

 

I usually get the burger,both the stuffed one and regular one. I prefer the regular. I have also had the chicken kabobs.

 

Can only laugh about my day, the first half won’t even speak of but the second half. Get to Mohawk. Supposed to pick up a specific trailer. Drive around for a half hour can’t find it anywhere. Shipping clerk I don’t think was getting enough oxygen through his mask. Because when I went back in to see if trailer could be anywhere else kept insisting the paper I was handing back to him was something I was delivering to him. Anyway apparently someone else took that trailer earlier in the day and they just reprinted the copy and submitted as a new load.
So I was given another trailer to pick up. Just so happened to be the trailer I was parked in front of. Go back into shipping clerk asked him if trailer was loaded since it was in a door. Shipping clerk says there is no trailer with that number on the property. I told him I would take a picture of it, because maybe I’m wrong. The trailer was in the second dock down from shipping clerks office. So anyway he hops on computer can’t find it anywhere. He starts making calls before you know it there are 4 other people in shipping clerks office hunting down this trailer that is just 2 doors down from his office.
Finally someone comes into office and asks me if I would grab another mythical millis trailer from their loaded lot and put it into a door for them, because some of the cargo on it is supposed to go into the trailer I’m supposed to grab but no one can find. Anyway they all huddle together figure out the trailer I’m supposed to pick up is 2 doors down from the shipping clerks office.
Anyway one of the shipping clerks tells me they will hop into their car and I should follow them to find another Millis trailer that has the rest of my load but it needs to be taken to a door so they can offload it into the trailer I’m supposed to pick up. Well we couldn’t find that trailer because it wasn’t there. At this point it was 18:00 and they needed to find out if I could take the trailer with just one stop of the 2 stop load. Going back at 0800 to see if they have it figured out.
