Supposed to 1 per month at Blue Beacon, but I've never done that. I did finally find a window shade like you recommended, and get to try it out today.

Awesome, I love mine. It gives some privacy too. My truck is pretty dirty with like a clay powder, I think I’ll try blue beacon.

Yes 1 time per month at Blue Beacon. Just pull in. Once inside the wash bay you will go inside a lobby area where they will get your name, company name and truck number. You sign and leave when they tell you the truck is done. The wash process itself is about 10 minutes once in the wash bay.

Do they wash the trailer too or just the tractor? I get rained on every other day and it seems like a waste of time to wash the tractor, do they ever wash the trailers? I seem to miss the Friday afternoon washes at Cville and only got to use the truck wash at a Heartland terminal once.

No company paid trailer washes at Blue Beacon. Only way to get a trailer washed is the hit or miss Cartersville, a Heartland Terminal or pay Blue Beacon out of your own pocket.

I was curious as to how they wash just the tractor, they must use pressure washers like the guys at Cville use, no desire to wash anything I'm driving here now. It's a work truck, and they're supposed to get dirty.

Basically a team of several workers with various high pressure hoses, soab and brushes focus on the tractor. Sometimes a little bit if the front of the trailer ends up cleaner by default. I personally like a clean truck and use my monthly beacon and any Heartland terminal that has an automated wash tunnel which happens to get the trailer too.

A possible small side benefit is that the more kept your truck looks the less likely DOT will pick you looking for problems because the appearance may indicate they won't find any.

I saw 1 of them yesterday when I stopped for a 30 minute break. Never seen that before, and glad I could keep on going when I was done.

I got this at a pop up store along route 90 in New York. They're promoting locally grown fruit, and it's really good. 0618201233.jpg
