Millis OTR journal

Enjoying your thread, I start training with Millis in August and your story makes me feel better about my choice. I know that he passed away but I still want to thank him for his story, he seemed like a very good man.

 

I'm here now for the night, are you guys still around? I see a couple of bobtail parked up front, more trucks here than the few times I've been here.

 

My truck is the one closest to the road. But I’m out of it until Monday. I get anxious to get out when hometime comes around.

 

I'm at the last stop on the throughway before leaving NY, we'll have to try for another time.
I like that terminal, it's got plenty of parking and it's quiet.

 

Definitely quiet and nice. The shower isn’t too fun to use though lol.

 

No I left there early afternoon yesterday.

 

It's a little claustrophobic for me, I bet the big guys have more of a problem. The pumps are funky too, but there's enough space between them to keep me from feeling like I stopped at a toll both.

 

If you guys don’t have one I recommend a passenger seat organizer. I love this thing. Pictures are always sideways on here.

 

I know who I'm going to ask next time I want advice on truck goodies.

 

Well it took a little longer then I expected. But I feel I successfully trained my first Millis trainee. Got him into his truck last Friday. He made his first delivery yesterday and is on his way to his second today.
Covid slowed us down, his state was one of those states that shut everything down so even though he passed his CDL test and passed his road test with Millis I technically had him for a month longer than I should have.
