Millis OTR journal

I wonder how the refer guys sleep. The last 3 night's I've been by at least 1 that was way too loud for my liking. I should sleep well tonight in Streator, I've got the place to myself.

 

One of my favorite Millis locations. Quiet and convenient

 

Once I found a good way in there it is pretty convenient. It's always nice to know there's a guaranteed parking place and bathroom there, and being the only one there doesn't bother me now. I even had some brief company last night too, someone did the quietest drop and hook while I was there. Much quieter than the refers from earlier in the week, and quicker too.

 

I always turn at the Pizza Hut, I think that’s 4th Avenue. Then follow it around to merge into N Shabbona. Straight in, straight out.

 

Its easier follow that road out to the Dunking Ds on the corner. Turn right on the road between walmart and Kroger go over tracks turn right and follow road around terminal be on left hand side.

 

That's the way I go too, much easier than going into town if you're coming from the north.

 

Didn't one of you guys have a load to Blue Ridge Beverage in Lynchburg recently? Tell me what you know.

 

Is it just me or are the rest of the Millis drivers magnets for noisy refers at night? I had the best spot in the lot too before a noisy refer parked next to me.

 

Ive never been there but if the three docks in front are receiving you will be good. Reviews seem generally positive with only a couple people complaining.

 

That's what I'm hoping. Because if receiving is that dock back there in the back, that does not look very fun.

I'm also wondering what reload they got was. GP in Big Island is probably the closest even if we aren't allowed to take the most direct (501 north from Lynchburg to Big Island is length restricted) route there.
