The empty space above the temperature controls looks like it may be a "screen" doesnt it? The left of that is just empty space.

Really? What year is your truck? I'm in one of the newer 2020s and mine is still on the gauge panel above the stereo.

I’ve got a 2020 Peterbilt but my 16 I had before this also had gauges in the touch screen. Didn’t know if KW did that or not since they are both Paccar.

No, just blank space. Same spot they put the bendix screen in the other trucks... the positions are just flip flopped

Well, I’m just “tick tisk” on these new changes. It hasn’t affected me yet and I’m gonna hang in there as long as they don’t affect me much. Lots of ##### moaning and groaning going on about it at the super secret FB channel. Having been unemployed for over a year about ten years ago, it will make a man humble.

On a lighter note, I’ve been in BRF for the last day, yesterday. Got my replacement truck #8070 turned up to 70 like my old one. Got all my stuff moved back in the cab that had been stored for 2 months. My sleeper is still in a state of disarray as I’m trying to figure what to keep and what to take home. The thought of losing that top bunk might be a deal breaker for me too! ;-D

Hit RFD at 0600 this morning and of course dispatch wanted me to find an mt. Fueling up, talking with another driver, he said ain’t no mt’s at the trailer shop. Went inside to dispatch and they knew that ####. Got a short hop to Madison with a Menards store load. Me, Mr Trucker delivering to Menards and I spent 200 bucks there while they unloaded me. Hit RFD again, lo and behold I’m on “The Triangle” with a pre-plan for Rochester. La Crosse, Memphis, Rochester.

Im happy as a pig in doo-doo. Settled down in Mauston tonight with pizza and beer. I’ll hit up City Brewery about 0600 in the morning. Then, site set on Double Nickel in Hayti, MO. Ain’t had no Q in a few months. ;-)

    MIT Thanks this.

So I think I already mentioned dropping off at Fritz in East Alton on Thurs at 9-10 am and then sitting around until a pickup at imperial mfg group the next day at 10 am.

Well dropped that load off at Lowe's in Rockford and Opie already had me preplanned to deadhead up to Richfield to grab a load going to Charlotte for a 9 am delivery on Monday. Total that is 1003 miles...and will put me at 2922 for the week...didn't think that would happen with the slow freight messages Opie was sending and the sitting around I did at the beginning of the week waiting for a few hours in Albany.

Picked up trailer 19250 at Lowe's...security tells you which one to take. I'm pulling out, the next Millis guy comes in and says, hey thats the trailer they told me to take. We check our papers...yup, the gate wants us both on the same trailer. He went to find another empty and hopefully didn't have a big fight with the gate workers...they are pretty serious around there.
