    Husband and wife are a team. My wife would probably be doing the same in that situation. As for getting into that situation...

    Thankfully he had someone at home reading the mail, otherwise he would have been in deep doo-doo..my wife doesn't even open mine anymore...when I come home there is sometimes a stack of mail with my name on it unopened.

    I know. I'm just having difficulty believing the courts would be coming after a CDL driver without there being some sort of ticket or notice of pending court case issued at the point of LE contact.

    You would not be the first significant other to be mislead by a truck driver and you won't be the last. Truck drivers are notorious for altering truth and/or being sometimes delusional in how they interpret reality. It's taught in week 3 of school, apparently.

    Google the main phone number for that court.....Ask to speak to the clerks office....Pay fine and done!

    Ok just found out ticket is 638 dollars pay by Friday.. all I can say is lesson learn and move on.. ticket is paid.. thank you for everyone help and advise it is stressful when your work depends on your license..

    No lawyer needed....It is just a scale ticket.
    All the county wants is the fine. It is not a moving violation so a lawyer is a waste..

    Did you go through the Clerk of Court?....I find that the fasted way to handle those kind of things.
    EXPENSIVE ticket! Wow!
