I guess if you’re OTR, movies for free might be a nice perk. I think I’d still rather have cash, however.

If you are with Dish, you can record your movies and transfer them to a portable storage devise and play then through your phone, tablet, etc.

That's the minimum you will make if don't run the miles. If your working 70 hours you should do more then the minimum guarantee. Say you only work 30 hours because they don't have the loads. You get $1,000 or $33 an hour.

You can spin the numbers anyway you want. If you drive 3,000 miles then you get $1,440 plus $100 or $200 extra if your not home for the weekend.

You can still go watch the free movies !

Just talked to a company that has a drop and hook deal and you run a triangle. Since the miles are low, They are guaranteeing 1150 a week, and another 100 for on time. At the end of 90 if you are doing good work another 50. I think I'm very interested. No matter what happens, you get paid even if the truck breaks, bad weather, etc. You only lose if you don't work.

This does not forbid a carrier from paying OT rates if they choose to as a means to attract labor in a competitive market.

Yeah, I have Direct TV. I have the app on my phone. I used to hot spot my phone to my Kindle and watch.

I’m local now so no need

But which two? That's the catch with the one I posted. Finally got it out of the recruiter. Home during the week for 2. Still decent money. I just ran 2340 and finally hit 4 figures. Maybe I stick around and see what happens at 90 days.
