    OK where to start...

DVIR: I think it's a good idea to get 'er done before midnight. I pulled into a truck stop late one night and sweet lord baby jesus mother mary and joseph there was a pull thru spot right there with my name on it. So I didn't mess with the elog nor the paper log which would have required turning the lights on and removing the pair of panties that is draped over that ugly elog box bolted to the dash and thereby blinding me with its hideously bright screen (the panties make for a more aesthetically pleasing ambiance). Well, anyway didn't intend to take that long of a nap, woke up after midnight and it would not let me Send the DVIR. The Send button was shaded over such that you cannot click it. Oh and the little box you're supposed to place an 'x' in to signify that everything is satisfactory, leave that box blank otherwise you won't be able to click Send lol how counter intuitive.

Rant: Mac 10, why oh why do we still need to do Mac 10 on elogs? They're are supposed to see our hours instantaneously and plan us accordingly -- that was the 'sell' anyway.
OK so I go to do Mac 30, -- says No Loads Due to No Hours Last 4 Days. Hello!! McFly! Elogs!
    How bout this one:
The System has determined you do not have enough hours to complete a load your PTA has been set into the next century. Hello!! Elogs!!

OK so now they're saying it's because there are still about 200 rogue lease operators out there on paper and the system will be ironed out when the entire fleet is on Elogs.

I'm a rogue and will continue to be so until at least the middle of February.

That's when the QC folks will be here to install them.

And now you understand one reason the QC will not be on my dash. Nice touch with the lingerie.

White Knight and scottied67 Thank this.

Scottie...type a Y not an X. It is 4AM here and I just sent the DVIR for the 11th, no problem. Have you clicked down on the screen's brightness? You can also turn the screen off at any time using the button with a light bulb looking symbol on it.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

You do know that there is a brightness control, and it adjusts all the way down to black, right? Hint: it's the button that looks like a light bulb.

Same for the volume. (not the light bulb part, but the buttons are obvious in their function)

Edit... I hate responding after someone I didn't read gets it in before me.

OK the Y worked, thanks for that head's up.
Yes I do know that lol, was just having a little fun with the panties. As far as sound, I was able to go into the parameters or something like that and mute all 4 or 5 speaker volume settings so the thing makes ZERO noise now YAY. It won't even beep like the old QC would with the volume all the way down. Of course now that I have posted this, they will recall all the Swift trucks into the terminals to disable the silent feature.

The reading of messages is great IMO.
'What is that message waiting.. preplan?'
Punch button - oh, permits is in a meeting. No need to pull over.
'Cause I'll be MT soon and if a preplan comes in a wanna pull over and reply.
It is a preplan? I can listen to where/when pu/del is and start formulating
while waiting for a pullover spot comes along.
    Elsewise, forget it.
    Etc..
You can push the home button to get a long message to stop.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Anyone know the site that you can get the last few months of logs emailed to you if you're on E-logs?
