Congratulations! That is a milestone that very few marriages ever see. My one marriage made 30 before quitting time.

Well that's good news I get to pick when the thing talks to me. I had a dream I was asleep when the O/O Fuel Price list came thru and Jill was reading off the terminals and prices for 5 whole minutes lol. Or performing a complicated backing procedure with soothing easy listening music on then her screeching witch voice telling me 'Thanks for all you do... 3 driver managers out today please limit communications to the qualcomm....'

On the other hand not too hip on Swift mechanics ripping and rooting around the stereo and dash to wire the speaker up. I guess it doesn't matter, after they jackhammer the holes into the dash, they have to remove the dash to back up the bolts they are putting through there, will have easy access to the stereo.

Talked to another O/O about his elogs, said they missed with the first 2 drill holes, moved over a few centimeters and drilled 2 more holes in the dash for installation. Now his dash looks like Swiss cheese-- he said it is mandatory that it be installed on the dash no exceptions.

I think I am going to like this. Soooooo easy, just have to remember to do it right away. I only let the move to the drive line happen by itself.

If you are more comfortable using a stylus on the touchscreen, look on the bottom of the unit near the cord, there is a stylus right there for you. I am more comfortable using the keys and have found a way to keep the keyboard exposed while the unit is in the rack. The tab on the left locks it in while the tab on the right simply applies some pressure to keep it from bouncing around. If you apply gentle pressure to the right tab by pushing it back, you can slide the screen up to expose the keyboard. This provides solid support while typing. It doesn't really block your vision of the road or mirrors, but in my case it blocks my view of the prepass transponder.

I am liking the navigation tool. Just in the couple weeks I've had the new QC, it has saved my butt twice. I'm no rookie who gets lost at every turn, but sometimes directions arent detailed enough or up to date enough. Had one in Chicago a few days ago where the address was on one street, and the entrance was on another-no sign anywhere of where I needed to go. I took a deep breath, and followed the GPS turns-got me right there. Then today I was going to a warehouse in Fostoria, OH, and there was road construction/closure in my path. The GPS got me around it and right in the back way. Impressive.

They finally got me on elogs and I'm actually liking it so far. Everything stated on this thread is correct. Two more days of paper and then thats it. I'm looking forward to no more math after 10 hours of driving or first thing in the AM, just park, switch to sleeper and be done wit it. Only thing thats driving me nuts is remembering to send the DVIR macro, since I'm still doing it on paper too my brain thinks its done.

Another thing I noticed it it does save you some time, if you were logging accuratly to start with. The other day I left Edwardsville to make a pickup, drove 25 min then 25 min back and stayed there for my 10. That would have been 1 hour on paper, on elogs it is 50 minutes. That quick stop at te rest area to use the bathroom that was too short to log, well now you save those 4 minutes, fuel no longer has to take 15 minutes, it really does seem to add up.

I've just finished 4th week (3rd with no paper) and this is a lot better than I originally thought. Just until you go paperless. It is nice.

You have to hit the correct button sequence for her to speak a message.

I've noticed how my thinking about time has changed since the switch. On paper, 5 hours left in a day was an eternity, but when I look at the time left on the timer now, I am thinking, "####, I only have 5 hours left!"
