Life is like that, isn't it? It's like having a clock in front of your eyes all day.

Yup time goes by fast with elogs. I run into my 14 most of the time before my 11 is up. I have been on them for awhile so kinda a pro at it now.

    inkeper and scottied67 Thank this.

So, do we still need to do the daily Mac10 when we are on elogs?
I did it yesterday, and it kept kicking back that my hours were invalid.

Same thing happened just now when I did my e-call, with the D1 Previous Day Hours.

(This was a close one. By the time I was unloaded I had just enough time to get around the corner into a Sam's Club parking lot before my hours ran out. I only had 6 minutes left on my 14, and 23 minutes on my 70.)

They won't be drilling holes in my dash. If Prime can figure out how to wire it up without damaging my equipment, Swift surely can too. In fact, the coil cord already in my truck for the QC is already set up for text to talk QC module. All they have to do is hook up the module.

I don't want holes in my dash and I want to be able to see my scale gauge. Next time you see a new QC, track the wiring. I'll lay odds it's the same umbilical as the old one.

Still have to do the mac 10 and the mac 32, vehicle inspection report. Are you entering your hours in the same format as the old way, that is in 15 minute increments, the system can't read the minutes such as 06:28 should be entered as 06:30.

Yes, That's what it was. I was doing exact minutes instead of the 15 minute format.

    inkeper Thanks this.

Got going on my E-logs, and when finished this evening, checked my hours used on my 70. It was 40 mins off. I looked at how long I was on line 5, and it was 40 mins. The computer took it off my 70. I thought that it was not supposed to do this. But when I look at the day log, it does not show it, example, yesterday it shows off duty all day, even though I drove for 20 mins on line 5, but then the 70 shows, missing 40 mins.

Talk to your safety person about it. I'm not an O/O or L/O but I thought the same thing you did.

You're making me very nervous about elogs. Did they drill holes in your dash?

If you're a O/O or IC you don't have to have the mount installed.

    Side note:

On my lease truck, I had them place the mount on the side of the cabinet and I used it for my TV. :biggrin_25523:
