You can still mount them yourself. All you need is common sense, a tape measure, center punch, hammer, electric drill, some penetrant spray (for drill but lube), and couple sizes of drill bits. I've mounted all my boxes and they normally take about 1-2 hours a box depending on how many beers I consume. It's not that hard to drill 4 holes for each box. Just start with say a 1/4 bit and then follow up with say a 1/2...keep increasing the bit siz until you reach the bolt ID required. Simple. Just remember to keep the holes as small as possible to avoid excessive corrosion/wear.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

Did you get the mounting brackets with the box. Those brackets are cheaper than building them

And rent a mag-mount drill to do the job.

I wouldn't recommend drilling holes. Use the clamp-on brackets instead.

I have the same box. They have welded reinforcements, but still will want to buy the brackets to mount it. Plus the extra steel helps with it not breaking a bolt when you put a bunch of chains in it ;)
