5cpm pay increase will do more than all that advertising

West memphis...whats so sad about it...walmart never had to recruit like this..didn't need to..even when growing in the past didn't need to..this is a direct result of inept greedy upper mgt being dumb...

 

Ups and old dominion are not hurting for drivers

 

Based on the hiring they are doing around here they sure look like it.

 

Every trucking is looking for quality drivers. Yes, some companies advertise & are more vocal about it. Ups in some locations are hiring off the street and not making it mandatory you work in the sweat shop first. ODFL has a dock to driver program to hire new CDL holders.

WM had no problem with quality drivers, until mr smarty pants instituted new policies, taking away perks, and generally killing the morale.
Now they are down approximately 2k drivers nationwide.

WM is just a big popular name everyone knows. But honestly almost everyone needs more "Quality Drivers"

 

Hopefully they got rid of that idiot...

 

The concept that Senior level management cannot save to comprehend is this.... If you keep their employees happy they more than likely will become very productive workers which in turn will allow the company to grow and everybody makes more money or all the way around... A pissed off Employee for the likely will not be a very productive want because they could Care less... In turn party the company and everyone there... This is not very difficult to understand but it obviously Is hard to comprehend on management's level....
