You are right, I moved up more than 90 spots in 4 years, I like where my seniority is at right now, I am glad I didn't leave. This job is the easiest and best paid I've ever had as a driver.joshuapowell61 and MilkyJay Thank this.

Yes, 46 cpm for new guys and it reaches 50 cpm on 3rd anniversary. They got rid off the 2 tier pay scale last week.

	Well that didn't take long.
I guess they where quitting faster than they expected.
Who's ever idea that was should be fired immediately.

Word through the grapevine is that upper management was dumbfounded at both the rate of “desertion” and the inability to recruit new drivers (for which we, the remaining private fleet drivers, were blamed). I for one, hope that every one of these bad decisions blows up in Greg’s face and they show him the door.foggy, braceface, Coover and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm always approached in truck store stops about how i like driving for walmart and i never sugar coat anything. Unfortunately there's a lot of drivers that want to come here but either don't live near a dc or don't fit our requirements. All i can say to that is don't hit anything for 3 years in a cdl A job and reapply. If i did it at 26, anyone can.

Doing away with this new pay structure was probably the smartest thing they could have done....

New drivers will now make around 12 cents more a mile on weekends. At least out of Sutherland.

Brother, me and a lot of other drivers agree. Dispatch offices are sorely understaffed...pay is getting errors in it..I don't know if it is peoplenet or just the harried co ordinators but it needs to be fixed. Shops are having 2 tech days if anyone gets sick.06driver Thanks this.

This shows how little current management understands WalMart drivers and truckdrivers in general. Their big plan to hire less experience drivers and let them steer while the computer drove just is not working out.
