Coolant reservoir likely
-
I had to change the entire reservoir tank.
the sensor was inside it and it’s going to be bouncing around.,
Check partsgeek, i got tank for $120 vs everyone at 150-200 for 579 peteDiesel Dave, GYPSY65 and Siinman Thank this. -
I had that problem on a w900. I just unplugged the sensor. But it had the old style radiator. No reservoir.
Can the same thing be done with the plastic reservoir? -
I have it unplugged, but it’s like a half of a straw type tube and that has to be in some sort of liquid
I have that in a bottle of water
I think there is a way to bypass the sensor with the paperclip, but I have not been able to get that to work yet -
It’d run and not shut down but that annoying beeping lasted a week until i got back in.Siinman Thanks this. -
I wouldn't try a paperclip. That actually ruins the plug by making the holes bigger so you won't make a good connection.
That w900 I did that trick on didn’t have the speaker connected. -
Had the same issue and judges solution was pretty much what i had to do. Only diffrence is i got my tank from the dealer. Was iirc $180.
