Just because you're doing well does'nt mean every driver is that lucky. But I do think how you run and how many miles you get depends alot on the drivers. You spend too much time at truck stops or at a rest area taking a brk, you're going to burn up your 11 real fast.Drivers complain about loads, there dispatcher will remember that. Many times drivers are just hurting themselves and then they wonder why they have sad checks. If you wanna make money and live comfortably on the road, you have to work at it.You and your dispatcher needs to communicate.

That was taken out of context. But that doesn't mean I don't agree with your points. However at Knight, your DM can't do much when your at the mercy of another terminal that has it's drivers first in line. Doing the right thing at Knight gets you bent over...everytime. Go see for yourself. Your attitude will change.
Can't help but wonder, are you scoping at Knight? Best of luck if you are. Their a junk carrier at best. Recycling and spitting out as many drivers as they can weekly to get the next guy in. People can justify it all they want but in the whole grand scheme of things...Knight lowers wages. Wages are already low enough. -
i guess someone hasn't seen the other thread about starting pay for drivers.. warner is .25 or something.. knight is pretty high compared to everyone else. but i think the only reason that is, because there's no raises (that i know about) while prime and everyone else gets raises after a period of time.

knight may offer more per mile then most companies, but you guys run less miles, drive POS trucks, have DB's as dispachers and managers. And idiots running the shops and the company.
Knight doesnt ever give you a raise? even after a year?

i'll call tomorrow and ask about the the raise thing, but so much for the less miles and pos trucks and dump arse DM.. i'm sure that's a driver by drive type thing, cause i get my miles, and my truck isn't a POS, i dont care much for how it's spec'd but hey, it's a company trk.. but i can't speak for all of the Knight drivers.

There is no money to be made over at knight transport. You'll average $400 a week. On a good week.
-
And I am sure you are basing this on fact? Or personal experience?
-
Dear poster, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i'd like to challange your post, what do you have to bring to the table to back that statement up? 1mo pay stub? 2mo pay stub? 'ell lets go all in and do 6mo pay stub!! I'll put everything on it that the house will win this hand. I'll admit i'll have a low paying week, $300 or $400, but those are the weeks when i sit on the couch for three four, and once for five days.. But saying i as a profesional driver for Knight Transportation will average $400 on a good week is as wrong as a Cummins in a Freightliner.

God, I had a Cummins in a FLD112, and yes that is wrong, very WRONG!!!!
