The recruiter I talked to said no paper logs, but you do need to have them in case your qualcom goes kaput. Before school I was not even going to consider Werner and then after talking to the recruiter I had second thoughts and no he did not sugar coat anything about the company. But the pay scale sucks, so they are probably back to the bottom.

Anything new bigtex

As far as logs. Keep a paper one in here just in case. The pay sliding pay scale really does blow. 1500 mile trip from Laredo,tx to Oxnard,ca only payed .21/mile.
After my hometime was up my truck was completely dead. Got it jumped and by that time the load was given to someone else. That was in Monday and I just now recieved a load(Friday) why I have no idea, I guess it's good I got a couple more days with the mrs' but made $0.
I got put on 2 waiting list so I can try to get off western region. One is a Phoenix-Vegas-LA run, since I'm in Vegas I'd be home everynight to shut down.
The other is an officemax dedicated run. -

Im reading the thread too man, keep it going.I'm really interested in Werner so the more info the better

I'm interested in reading more too.... I got a call from Werner this afternoon. Told me I could choose OTR or eastern regional (everything east of the Mississippi). Chickie-poo didn't sugar coat anything, but I don't think she gave me the whole story either. Keep us informed. I'm almost, ALMOST, leaning toward going to drive for Big Blue.
