Ya Im slowly figuring that out. If the fmcsa would do away with the 14hr rule we would all be rolling in benjamins. Keep the 11 hours driving. Keep the 10 hour break. Just do away with on duty time.

Sounds good. I understand what's good for you might not be for the next guy, I get that. I wasn't dogging you by no means. I have met several nice CRST drivers and some are happy and some are stuck there Cuz of all they owe the company. The only reason I replied was just to touch base, tell you good luck and that I enjoy your posts. Lol I think we are fixing to high tail it out of here and try for Mercer. I haven't read anything negative that wasn't just the normal b$"&! I was excited for him to be able to do his own loads and what not but over here he'd be making $800/mo. payments on a trailer he'll never own. So that in itself is worth the switch! Anyway, sorry if I seemed like a negative nelly I was really only making conversation! :)

You didn't sound negative at all. I just wanted to be sure I had explained myself correctly. I didn't want to sound like I was complaining. Sometimes I post these after I've worked all day and I'm ready for bed and my thoughts may not be as put-together as I'd like to for them to be.

Make sure you're only logging only 30 min to load and unload so that you don't kill your 70 the rest of the time go off duty

    Sneakerfix and BulletProof Thank this.

Lol, you're a better man than me.....I don't even get close to that. I log the amount of time it takes me to check in and let them know I'm there, usually 5 mins give or take.

    Sneakerfix Thanks this.

You don't show loading, strapping, chaining, etc. I thought we had to show 30 min to load and or unload. I go off duty when I pull into the shipper and don't go on duty until I'm loaded in which I set a 30 min timer on my phone

Those of you with Mercer, how long did it take from the time you filled out an app to when the recruiter called? Just curious because we have to move like now...we are drowning! Thanks!

Well and then how long was it from the time they called to the time you went to orientation? Thanks again!
