You are saying 75% of Schneider threads are bad? Can you count? Seriously though, you are right, you should rethink coming to Schneider.
I have never been treated like crap, in fact this company just keep getting better Look I can see how this company isn't for everyone and how some people may have a bad experience like the OP. But to just change your mind and then say 75% are bad is just ridiculous.
If you are that easily influenced then I shudder to think what a night in the drivers lounge will do to you.

Hi Ethos, if I read 100 posts and 25 of them were good then that's 75% percent. Everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Also, I said I'm coming to AR for training. Calm down. It's going to be okay
-
By the way what I read about Schneider was not on this forum. Would you work for a company without checking them out first, Ethos?
-
You already checked and then made a decision. Then read a few things and changed your mind or at least "started to rethink". You are ridiculous and will last a few months and quit.
-
Right the mysterious 75% bad post. Cool, you should not come aboard, you won't like it then.
-
Have a nice day, Ethos.

I only worked for Schneider for 3 months. It's the best Mega carrier I've worked for. The money isn't the best but if you want to run and can prove that you'll run you will get miles. The only negative thing I have to say about Schneider is the weekend support shift sucks!
-
Okay. The job I'm hoping to have is LTL in Louisiana. She said, I will be home weekly.

Schneider pulled the old fashion - BAIT & SWITCH tatic on you . They have their bottom feeder recruiters everywhere and they get paid to get you to orientation . It's a numbers game to those people and they could care less about REAL LIFE or REAL FAMILIES or PEOPLE in general . They knew what they were doing when they did it . And most likely ALWAYS wanted you for VANS in the first place but didn't have the integrity to tell you .
So instead they are taught to FAIL you ( in your case by 2 beats ) and then play off your EMOTIONS in the heat of the rejection and still fill a seat . It's a numbers ploy on their part .
Sad thing is that lots of people accept the VAN job . and they fill that seat still .
Bad business practice on the part of SNI cause they could have easily done the testing at your home of record to have you 100% qualified . But instead would rather pull you down there and prey on a person emotions of now possibly being unemployed .
Glad all worked out for the OP -
Schneider wants the best but will not pay for it. I have still many friends there and on one particular dedicated account they are having an average of one preventable accident a day. Three years ago they might have had one or two a month. 90% of them are maneuvering parking lots for the customer. It's quite simple...good drivers will not accept the pay Schneider is willing to provide. They know they can go down the road and increase their income...substantially. So who stays? Apparently drivers that run stuff over and bump into crap constantly.
