It all depends on who you work for. Same thing goes for any other type of trucking you do.

Well, money is surely to be made hauling reefer... I only started solo as a new driver a little over a month ago hauling 48 state reefer. Well, I've not taken a 34 reset since I came off my hometime January 12th... Every available hour has been used hauling loads; everything from loose, dirty potatoes, to Bud Light labels. And I just got myself a 12 ft. jumper cable to connect my reefer to my tractor. Instant APU! :biggrin_255:

I'll get used to the noise, eventually.

I don't know if you'll make more money. As posted earlier it depends who you work for. Pulling reefers you'll have more options for loads and your chances of sitting while looking for a load are less since you can pull both Temp Contolled loads and non TC loads. It would also help if you had Hazmat on your CDL. I know its a pita to get,but it could mean getting out of a middle of nowhere town the same you unload, rather sitting a day or two while your DM finds you a non HM load.

It definitely depends on who you pull for. Do your research well!
