    1) I had permission from Publix
    2) I was illegally and improperly towed so it doesn’t matter.

Some people Park at truck stops during home time. Where else they gonna park. Thats ridiculous you should be able to drop trailer, register inside and let them no. If I owned a truck stop I would allow drop trailers in free and if you pay you should definitely be able to drop. Truck stops aren't even trucker friendly these days

It’s morbidly selfish to leave a truck sit at a truck stop while you are on home time. Find a better place to park. If I owned a truck stop, I would tow trailers AND trucks if they sat there unattended for 24 hours. I agree in part with what you say about truck stops not all being trucker friendly anymore, but it’s “entitled” people that abuse the system that ruin it for everyone. And if the lot is full of rigs that will sit there for 3-4 days, that would be keeping paying customers off my lot. And parking spots aren’t cheap to install. Maybe I would even buy my own wrecker and keep all the tow and impound fees for myself lol

Sure can. Unscrew the whole glandhand, and screw another on, that doesn’t have a lock.

It's not the truckstops problem where you park when your at home, they have there hands full just keeping parking for the fueling customers. I have never had a problem figuring out where to park the tractor trailer I'm driving.

Seems lots of people are missing the fact that some truck stops actually lease/rent out monthly spaces to local companies/owner operators. They have every right to do so. Don't point fingers if you don't know the entire story.

hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if tow yard is responsible for keeping fuel in tank to keep reefer motor running
