My TMC experience.

They ended up sending he top Hagerstown to get it worked on, however the shop can't get me in till this morning. I hope it's Quick fix, I've only got a 5 hour window to get unloaded today, and I still have to drive another 60 miles

 

Truck was worked on, I made my delivery in Baltimore, after I made my pick up, I'm driving westbound on i70 climbing the hill just before the welcome center and the engine light comes back on for the same thing, so back at the shop again...

 

I made some money, didn't clear a grand take home, but it's not bad

 

Well the verdict is in, they found a hole in the turbo air exchanger, service guy says he doesnt understand how i wasnt feeling a loss of power, well if the hole has been there since i got the truck, then it would seem normal to me. They are going to look for replacement part from an aftermarket seller tomorrow, but if they are unable to find one, Ill be sitting at the Microtel in Hagerstown Maryland of I81 all weekend. Be interesting how this gets handled. Either breakdown pay, or detention pay.....

 

I am shacked up for the weekend. Seems the part will be in monday morning and will be fixed that evening. Im sitting at the microtel off 81. Nice place, at least there are places to eat close. But sitting here with nothing but a laptop, phone, and the television gets boring

 

Under strict orders from the wife, no spending. And sports isn't something I really care for, other than Nascar.


Least I got cable, free WiFi that's decently fast, and my laptop
