Owner of a local shop tells me in an N14 I should not use ATF or 2 strike oil, he says it causes carbon deposits in the injector with causes them to seize, he told me to use Stanadyne lubricitcy formula fuel additive, I personally have used ATF till now, I started to use the stanadyne addictive all I can say is exhaust temp increased about 100F

That Rawse has a loyal club of isx gurus. He knows about as much as Cummins does. He taught himself the isx repairs, and how to rebuild them. From being a driver to start. You can also shim the oil pump of any Cummins for more oil pressure. This is an old timer way to help that issue. As Cummins is the lowest oil pressure engine. The isx likes to eat cams this gear lube helps with that far better than Lucas. @Justrucking2 learned a bunch from Rawze and rebuilt his own isx better than the dealer did. I hate the isx but some folks can do some cool things to an isx.
The major issue with the n14 is injector sticking. But they do not cost much.Justrucking2 Thanks this. -

Just rods and mains at 1,000,000
No other internal work.
I keep in touch with the new owner - so far so good.
Before I sold it, I was confident it would run to 1.4, 1.5 million without needing an inframe done.
Sampling is great for piece of mind.tommymonza Thanks this.
