National Carriers "The elite fleet"

    I have always wanted to know who gave them the title of the elite fleet and what makes them so elite? If they gave themselved the title then I am now the most elite driver of all and from now on I should be addressed as such.

    They were "elite".........................

    but it was more than 12 years ago...............

    I believe they've been around for 30+ years.

    My back hurts just looking at that truck! Really makes you appreciate what we have today.

    I also notice each state had their own numbers before the USDOT# became standard.

    In the 70's and 80's they were the Elite fleet. You wouldn't believe the beautiful trucks they had.
