Does any of you like nature?
I had a couple of first time sightings for me Monday morning.
I drove by a herd of musk ox, which I have done quite a bit, but still like seeing them. This time though 7 or 8 miles on down the road there was 4 bulls and 2 of them were fighting, 1 more was jumping in the air and running around the 2 that were fighting. They moved faster than I had ever seen a musk ox move.
I just thought it was a treat to see 2 of them fighting, never seen that before.

Then about 20 miles before I got to the beach, I started seeing all brands of ducks, geese and some shore birds, literally everywhere all mingled together. These were just walking around the tundra and very thick from a few feet from the road on both sides, to as far as you could see them. It was about 7 in the morning and they were not trying to eat or anything, just walking around, It was like that for 15 miles or a little more. I am talking thousands of them.
I mentioned it when I got to town and was told that they probably had just landed there on their way to their nesting ground and were just resting and waiting for the sun to warm them up a little, before flying on.
I do not know if that is what was going on or not, but I drove back through 5 hours later and they were all gone except for a few stragglers here and there, about like it had been all week.

Anyway It was a couple of first sightings that I had never seen before, that I thought was cool. I did see a small grizzly the trip before, but have seen them many times.
