Nebraska Smells

I may be in the minority but love the smell of the state but then I rarely run the big road.
From Niobrara to McCook to Chadron it smells like freedom to me.

All of those pretty packages of Beef, Pork and Chicken at the grocery store don't just appear by magic! Apparently you have lived a very sheltered life! Welcome to reality

As someone that runs too many big roads, it still smells like freedom to me.

 

It smells like money too me !!

 

While traipsing the country on motorcycles I have found awesome places in pretty much every state but Nebraska, in the heart of the Midwest, has some of the greatest restaurants (two rivers saloon) ever, and if you ever have the opportunity to eat at a stockyard cafe ya really should. And Fort Robinson West of Chadron is an eye opener for anyone interested in the history of the westward expansion of the U.S.

 

Just wait until the next time you make your own fajitas.

I was just talking about this to my wife yesterday while rolling across NE

Don’t you think as saturated as the ground is that the crud in the ground ends up in our steak after the cows lay around in it?

 

Yup......and it's delicious!
