Need a good comeback for this rejection

The dollar general in my town just unloads the truck and leaves the rolling rack carts in all the isles the rest of the week for the customers to figure out and unload. Problem is they never leave them sitting in the right isles. May find the toilet paper on the ice cream cart over in the frozen foods section. Seems like a pretty stress free life there. Lol.

The CORRECT version of that quote is "The customer is always right IN MATTERS OF TASTE". This was almost a mantra in clothing retail, where people who had weird ideas of fashion (like say, mixing a leopard-skin pattern top with vertical striped pants) were NEVER to be ridiculed (or even laughed-at) by the sales staff.

But, as in most things, people only heard the part they wanted to hear, then applied it to things it was never associated with, nor was intended to be. It's kinda like those people who can pull a 6-word biblical quote out of an 'alternate orifice' to bolster an opinion which has NOTHING to do with the subject being discussed. You know, kinda like Samuel L. Jackson in "Pulp Fiction" with his "vengeance is mine.." quote....

 

While I can find nothing wrong with your post, I'm wondering if I might try a bite of your Big Kahuna Burger? And perhaps avail myself of your tasty beverage to wash it down?

 

DG stock price down 45%… twice… 2 years in a row…. Ouch 270 down to 70. Can’t afford employees to unload carts anymore!

 

Oh they can, but that would mean the big shots wouldn’t get a bonus or pay raise. Never mind the workers they don’t need it.
