Mileage pay? No thanks. Salary pay is much better. Equal to the best possible legal miles in 70 logged hours.

Once you settle a good salary between 1500 to 2000 net after taxes to the driver .. then we can talk about the rest of what is necessary to schedule loads across the USA in 7 days instead of 4. With a open ended arrival time during business hours at the customer.

Dreams and wishes. One hand and the other. Bird in hand is two in the bush.

We can dream and if wishes were horses we all ride.

You can be healthy in any trucking job, no matter what you drive or who you work for. But if Bubba John wants to eat mini pizzas, corn dogs and mountain dew, all he is gonna use that big custom sleeper for is a place to throw his wrappers and bottles.

Husband drove a 2005 Volvo Condo years ago. It only needed a kitchen sink in it. This was real close to RV living, It had most of the comforts of home in it, and I would drag more out everytime we went home. I never made the table back up usually from the bed state, it was like a Winny with the 2 bench seats when it was up. It had a whole lot more closet and compartments for storage than most of the trucks do now, I had things like spices and canned goods in them, the crockpot, and George Foreman. The only problem was when you got into places that didn't have a lot of room to manuever into the docks, the extra footage combined with old places that were built when trucks and trailers were only 48 ft could be a problem; Wrangler in Luray, VA is one of those places, with a 3 ft dropoff into the neighbors yard.

These guys only plan on using 2 trucks, ok.
