FedEx ground also uses military driving exp. I used mine to get on with them they just have to call your unit and verify. I had 6 months civilian and my military covered the 1 yr required to get hired by a contractor.

I can't think of ever seeing a Maverick truck pulling a poorly tarped load. All their stuff looks buttoned up tight and professional. Can't say the same for TMC...

These companies are owned by Daseke.
    Boyd Bros.
    McElroy
    WTI
    TSH, Tennessee Steel Haulers

P&S is a stand alone co, it does have a large investment in Montgomery Transport. They do mostly operate on their own.

Earlier/above--I suggested R E West because....if KLeslie is that interested in flatbed duty....he could later go straight into heavy haul/multi-axle work--without changing employers.

Here's an example from an Indeed.com post, for GA:

Also--R E West is a much smaller company that those others suggested.

So it offers more of a small company feel and function.

TMC, all my experience with TMC guys I've meet has been pretty positive. They keep their equipment nice and I've heard they make decent money.
