Got a 2006 carrier reefer that keeps throwing code a-18 low refrigerant pressure hadn’t used the trailer in about 4 months but charged up the battery and started up fine and ran for about 6 hours and now today with temperature in the single digits won’t stay running for more than 5 min then throws code

You’re going to need to recharge it. The system has to have a minimum pressure to satisfy the unit’s sensors/computer.
