Yea as far as equipment goes the company leases trucks feom penske so they dont have to worry bout maintenance or anything, they switch to current year every year. So i would get a brand new 2016 freightliner

Wish I could land a job like that here. Jump on it, boy. JUMP!!
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Hell yes , a truck that's turn key. And everything works. I would be there waiting today can you take momma with you? Maybe not at first but down the road. New guys on the block get the crappy loads with large company's. Along with multiple stops. No stress on how much you will make on Friday. Wife's tend to like that. Keep momma happy and life is great... My take

Oxbow Thanks this. -
We will send you pictures of the country. Lol. Be there waiting looking sharp with a nice big smile on Tuesday. Don't get any better then that. Even owning your own truck.

That is a no brainer! Take it and forget about the rest. Running hard is great, but I really doubt you'd make better money. Get the pictures from Old school and enjoy your new job. Safe Travels
Oxbow, Old school 362 and KD5AXG Thank this. -
Sounds good to me!

I will put it to you this way....... If you ever get to thinking that the grass is greener, it's not. There are guys who've been driving 30 yrs making half that.

[QUOTE="Kansasboy, post: 5130388, member: 174748" But question is, if u go with a different company and run 3 or 4 weeks staright at a time, as soneone just starting out will make more that 1500 a week or should i jump on this job.[/QUOTE]
Most that work at those companies that run 3 or four weeks straight make less then half of that. So <$700 a week for seldom seeing home.
