You must be a new driver. Maybe not a 389, but definitely W900's.. I drove a 379 Pete in 2004 when I worked for Werner and they also had Kenworth W900 and Freightliner Classics at the time. Naturally all of them were governed.

You said “62 mph”. They weren’t 62 mph back then, we’re they? I assumed you meant now days. I think all they have now days are the plastic bumper trucks

Anyway, the Francis antenna works great, much better than my old antenna.

My experience so far is much improved range. I’m very happy with it.

So I guess that makes this Red Star a large car.

Well, me being the inquizitive fellow that I am along with the conflicting responses, I decided to look it up. The following statement does not, by any means, imply that I think Google is always right but... basically it said a large car is a Class 8 truck or a truck that can reach speeds in excess of 90 miles an hour or a truck that has been, and this is a term that I would never use unless quoting someone else, "pimped out". Not that my opinion really matters but I would not consider a truck that had been "pimped out" a large car because in my mind that term would imply something totally different.

My buddy Youngblood in Atlanta uses it in is tagline Wendy comes on and signs off and I always wondered exactly what he meant. I had a feeling it was something to that effect.

“Large car” is a term dates back to the 1930s. Like sedan or coupe with cars, it’s a truck body type.
