No, different freight. My truck pulls a walking floor for nearly all its miles, and pulls a shed trailer delivering storage buildings a fraction of the time. My brothers rig runs storage buildings exclusively. The buildings aren't terrificly heavy, but they do drag a ton of wind. I think part of what helps him is that he runs empty approximately half the time, following deliveries, while I pull the same 13'6" tall wagon everywhere.

Oh ok. I hardly see any trucks on the side of the road with their hoods pulled. I see plenty on the side of the road, possible broken down, but rarely with the hoods pulled. Is that pretty common where you live?

This is my first truck. I used it to haul avocados from Nogales to hunts point market. Then I’d reload in PA and haul Turkey hill ice cream back to the border. The motor was really pumping out some power and I could only keep it cool if I pulled the hood.

Does that thing have a Hemi in it? If so, it makes sense not having a hood.

Yes it does. Mack only made the hemi head E5 for about 3 months. Great motor, but big oil killed it. It would get 18 miles per gallon. Shell bought the rights to it and destroyed all the blueprints.
