New DOT physical for new meds?

    So let's say hypothetically in the future I see a doc and he says I need some form of meds, and I tell my company that, what are the next steps? Don't I need to report all medication to my company, or do I wait till my next physical date to inform the physician.

    You don't have to tell the trucking company anything. That's between you and the DOT doctor.
    The pencil pushers in the office have no need to know and if you tell them anyway, they'll gossip behind your back and may even use that medical knowledge against you in the future.
