NEW ELD standard Triggering my E-Logs in yard movement

You cant your under dispatch. My company preplans me all the time . If im correct i cant PC at all. The other day i told them i take a load over the ph but to wait until i get home before dispatching so i could use PC or off duty to get home . This allowed me to remain off duty which helped me reset hrs after being home for 34 .

 

They changed the regulations recently so that we can PC in more situations, even loaded/dispatched, even moving in the direction of our destination, but must stop at the first available safe parking spot.

A common situation would be getting loaded at the shipper and running out of time but they kick you off the property, in this instance we can PC to a safe place to park.

Another one might be, say we are parked at Walmart but the cops come kick us off the property and we are out of hours, we can PC to another safe place.

 

That would help . Now if i can get company to comply
