Hi All.
For those that have done the new entrant safety audit, when does the 30 day consecutive ELD requirement begin? Do I submit it 30 days from the receiving of the e-mail or 30 days from the date I decide to submit the audit paperwork?
Thank you kindly

There should be a number and/or email of the person doing it that you can ask questions to I had to send in a pre employment drug test and some paperwork showing I'm in a random drug test thing I think I sent in a random month there's nothing to worry about
-
They wanted the last 30 days of my logs.
But that’s been a while.
And some of mine were paper because Of the 8 days per rolling month and Ag exempt status.
But you made sure they weren’t any errors. -
When I got audited the first time. They asked for 30 days of ELDs with no specific dates just 30 days. They really are looking to see if you have an ELD.
nikmirbre Thanks this. -
I don’t know how your state handles things so I’m assuming you have a deadline for all documents to be submitted.
I mostly did everything via email but was given the trooper’s cell number if I had questions. I did end up calling because I had trouble figuring out how to send the logs.
If you were given a contact number use it for any questions. For me everything was simple and dealing with the State Trooper was stress free..just a normal decent guy. -
Contact the auditor. Some want things a certain way while others don't.
-
You may be overthinking it...just send the previous 30 days and if they want something else, they'll clarify or ask for it. -
They won't f u up at that entry audit.
Just don't make an impression of being a complete moron and show no logs, no drug consortium, no repair - maintenance record. -
Thanks for all your input.
