Lately I've been seeing Rutter's gas stations being put up around my area. I had the pleasure of parking at 2 of them in the past 2 weeks. I'll go out of my way to go back too. Awesome food, very friendly staff, not many parking spots but GIANT parking areas (plenty of room to swing around), and you can usually find an open spot since they're not really a "truck stop" to the megas. If they had showers at these places I wouldn't stop anywhere else

Funny, cause yesterday coming out of Pennsylvania I asked myself does the sign say "butters" or "Rutters", its hard to tell because its kinda in cursive. While I didn't get to stop at one I remember stopping at 2 of them, one off of I-83 and the other I think off US15 somewhere near York.

They seem to keep the parking lots clean and yes they do have good food!! I almost never will park at a Mega Truck stop at night, but those little spots like Rutters are excellent and refreshing!!

For sure. They just put one up off of I-99 near State College PA this past year or so. Normally the people that park there are the guys local to the area, cattle haulers, bulk tankers, flatbeds, ect...guys that won't back into you or park crooked taking up 2 spots

Yep...I get out to PA quite a bit, so I know the one out by Peola quite well. I've also been to the one by 83 (I think)...good good eats up in there.

I know the one by Peola has "no overnight parking" signs up, or at least they did earlier in the year...but I went inside and asked the manager if I could camp there since my delivery was barely a mile down the block; they obliged me. I think that one did have a shower; can't remember.

Now...don't let the secret spread too far, because otherwise... well, you know...

Rutters and Sheetz both have excellent food and great customer service bar none!
There’s a Sheetz right down the road from my home terminal in Carlisle,PA that I stop at before I shutdown at the terminal to get their hot dogs, tacos or curly fries!!

Yeah, Sheetz be having the bomb.com food...I wish they'd build more truck fueling locations. I know of one on 81 in VA, and another one somewhere in NC (I think Statesville; that was also the first time I saw a Sheetz that far south). Need more Sheetz eatz!
