    $1000 to park safely along a curb or $1000+ in damages caused by Mega backing into me while parked in center row...

    If the curb is painted yellow or red it is a fire lane and any police officer or fire marshall can write a big ### ticket for parking in it.

    No. Different laws in different states. Yellow curb in the city I worked in wasn't a fire lane. Red was and it was also signed. Yellow was no parking and was a 20 dollar ticket. Fire lane was over a 100. Maybe get towed too. A lot of parking regulations are also governed by city ordinance.

    so far as i know fines have been around awhile for that and tows, fire hydrants have a no parking zone as well.

    it would help a individual to be aware of signs and what yellow , green, white and
    red zones stand for / mean.

    we all know blue and yellow and or white means a handicap zone and is ticket able... right ?

    The white zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. No parking!
