May as well stay here then ... the trolls have already been smacked down. No point in giving them new fodder.

Just the facts ... First the good news - the mt rate is bumped to $1.075 plus FSC ... the loaded rates are bumped $.168 across the board plus FSC ... Now the bad news ... the FSC was cut by $.20 across the board.

Basically this is neutral pay change, no increase for o/o's ... break even is around 7% mt miles, if you run above that you will make out, below that it's cut.

I'll follow up with details of what I experienced tomorrow ... I have to put myself to bed.

How did you get chosen again? You run mostly Command loads, which makes me ask, how will this affect their rates, since everytime they give me a load, they tell me their rate and Swifts rate. Are we going to be asked what pay package we are using????

It looks like Swift has hit a wall with pay for O/O & L/O looks like they trying to get more monies fro FCS guess that's where the make the money off O/O & L/O on new pay package. I see swift in about 5 to 10 years shrink its company drivers and get away from training. It will be interesting nevertheless, to see how Swift handles the future.

From what I have read and that includes the Pres of the O/O division, this new raise will not be good for me. My empty is 5% and less for two years now.

Take this for what's it worth. I would honestly just save money up and buy a 10k to 20k truck. Granted you have to look hard get the right specs, pull ECM records do an oil sample and rigdig report. you will be better off IMHO. Can you succeed doing the Lease thru swift. Yes But it comes with a lot of risk.

I do a lot of mt miles...still doesn't really sound like a raise to me....I might do average 10-15%....I mean who cuts the loaded mileage rate really, and calls it an increase....seems like it's just slight of hand trickery at best,lol...thx swift...love u too:biggrin_25523:
